40G optical transceiver refers to an optical transceiver with transmission rate of 40Gbps, with 4 channels for transmitting and receiving optical signals, each of them is 10G. And the commonly used packaging is QSFP+. It can provide high-density&speed and low-power Ethernet interconnection for data centers, network computing and telecom. But 40G product is for transition from 10G to 100G.
